The long-running shooter franchise and its spinoffs proved they still have a place as 2018's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 shunned its critics and Treyarch went down a wholly multiplayer route. After the chart domination of 2018's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Activision is already looking at what comes next. Activision and Infinity Ward are keeping gamers guessing whether 2019's Call of Duty game will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 or Call of Duty: Ghosts 2.
